Good reads: Stolen by Grace Blakeley

Saw Grace Blakeley speak at a festival last summer and she was pretty inspiring.
Stolen is her first book and definitely worth picking up. It's a really good (and easy) read, if you want a primer on the neoliberal economic hegemony we've suffered under since Thatcher, a con(servative) trick that has seen investment and risk privatised, the financial markets take control, with all the benefits going to the already super wealthy elites. The last chapter, where she offers up some alternatives, got a little technical and dry tbh, but up til then it was definitely worth it.
