Microsoft announce plan to be carbon negative by 2030

I'd seen the headlines on this but not read the detail. And it's well worth it. Because where most countries/companies are fannying around with some greenwashed version of carbon neutrality by 2050, Microsoft has pledged to be carbon negative by 2030 and to remove all the carbon they’ve ever emitted since their foundation in 1975 by 2050. Whether or not they get there, it's this kind of ambitious commitment we need if the whole world isn’t going to crash and quite literally burn.
